Budapest – Top 5 Things to do • Margaret Island  • 1.5 mile long island park with gardens & old world feel • Good for cycling & running • Has a pool and ‘beach’ park • Roman Baths • Széchenyi Bathhouse has open air pools, saunas, medicinal baths, and mud baths and massages • Apx €11 to enter • The Libego Cable Car / Siklo Railway • Libego takes you high over woods, specatcular views • Siklo is a charming railway that runs between Royal Castle of Buda to Clark Adam Square Trilogy is getting ready for Budapest, But is Budapest ready for Trilogy!

Budapest – Top 5 Things to do • Danube Bank at Chain bridge • At the time of its construction, the bridge counted as a wonder of the world • Citadel • once a loathed symbol of oppression • underground World War II bunker with lifelike waxworks • sit back and relax in the cafe and enjoy the fantastic view of Budapest Trilogy is getting ready for Budapest, But is Budapest ready for Trilogy!

Budapest – Public Transport • Metro (subway), Trams, Buses and Trolley Bus • Rated as very good public transport • Typical Cost – 290 Forint (€1apx) • Book of ten tickets 2600 Forint (€9apx) • Daily pass – 1500 (€5apx) • 3 day pass – 3700 (€12apx) • 7 day pass – 4400 (€15apx) • Buy tickets at stations or newstands • In general, no bikes on public transport Trilogy is getting ready for Budapest, But is Budapest ready for Trilogy!

Supporters Guide • Course layout means you will need to pick which parts you want to see (start, middle or finish) • Suggestion 1 (move around): • Start at swim • After swim walk along Danube to near bike turn • After cycle Walk to finish • Suggestion 2 (stay put) • Stay along Danube for part of the course common to both cycle & run Trilogy is getting ready for Budapest, But is Budapest ready for Trilogy!

Final Notes • Bike Boxing • Boxing will take place at Murt Keanes • Just bring your bike & box • Saturday 3 or Sunday 4 • Un-boxing will be on Thursday 9 September • Sprint is given preference • Re-boxing will be after the race on Sunday 12 September • Advice: Do not leave this until Monday!
