  4. Comprehensive Planning At a Glance Required component of WV Code 8A Plan document prepared under direction of Planning Commission and County Commission Lays out a vision and sets forth policies for future development of the unincorporated area of the County

  5. Comprehensive Planning At a Glance Ongoing input from citizens & community leaders Based on data inventory, analysis, and evaluation Includes existing and future land use maps and shows future growth areas Serves as guide for community decisions

  6. Comprehensive Planning At a Glance Provides policy and program guidance to decision-makers Accomplishes a coordinated and compatible development of land and improvements (i.e., land development regulations) Must be updated every 10 years
