  3. Location. • The Galapagos Island is in Ecuador. • The Islands is in west to Ecuador in the Pacific Ocean, approximately 600 miles (966 km) off the coast of Ecuador.

  4. Weather. • The Galapagos Islands is like the rest of Ecuador that has two seasons. The temperature is 85 °F(30° C). It is considered subtropical all year. The cold weather start from July to December.A warmer current called El Nino shapes the weather on the Islands from January to June.

  5. Animals. • 97 % of the Galapagos Islands is now a national park. In the Galapagos Island, you can find penguins, marine land iguanas, frigate bird, blue feet birds, pega-pega trees, lava lizard, Giant tortoises, and Palo Santo trees in other varied vegetation.

  6. Important Facts • Population: There are about 19,800 • Fauna:There are about 10,000 species. • There are 13 Islands, 17 Islets. • The Capital is Puerto B. Moreno
