3. Here is what you must understand. In the last days : people will make fun of the truth. They will laugh at it. They will follow their own evil longings. They will say, "Where is the promise of his 'return? Doesn’t everything goes on in the same way it has since our people of long ago died? It has continued that way since God first created everything. (2 Peter chapter 3)

4. And then Peter writes, vs. 8-9 The Lord is not slow to keep his promise. That is, He is not slow in the way some people understand it. He is patient; He doesn't want anyone lost; He's giving everyone space and time to change.

5. How did God speak to the world he created?

7. God speaks 1) in creation, 2) in the history of Israel & the Church, 3) in the pages of the Bible, 4) in Jesus, and 5) in the heart of the believer
