Minor in Information Systems • The Information Systems Minor is for: • Students within the College of Business and Economics in the BSA, BSBA, or BAE programs. • Students throughout the University majoring in programs such as Communications, Geography, Graphic Design, Engineering, Health Science, Kinesiology, or Journalism • 21 units of business and IS courses • Only 12-15 more units for other business majors

Transferring to CSUN’s Accounting and Information Systems Programs • Accounting: start out in Pre-Accounting • Information Systems: declare major right away • Prerequisites for taking ALL 400 level courses • BUS 302/L (Business Gateway Course and Lab) • Classroom and test labs • Must be currently enrolled to take 300 level • Must pass to take 400 level • UDWPE (Upper Division Writing Proficiency Exam) • Apply for a date and time • Costs $20
