INTRODUCTION Introduction of the team International trainer to assist EU TAC Thorsten Trede has been working as trainer for well over 12 years worldwide with a special focus on developing countries and countries in transition. One regional area of specialisation is South East Europe, where he has been working for well over five years so far. As managing director of APPLICATIO Training and Management GmbH he is the head of the International Management & Marketing Academy in Hamburg (I.M.M.A.). His fields of specialisation are inter alia training and training of trainers, moderators and consultants, SME development, marketing and export promotion including the management of changes in these and other fields.

Project partners • is financed by the European Commission and carried out by InWEnt in cooperation with three Bosnian NGOs as partners: • The Association of CEFE trainers in Bosnia and Herzegovina, • the Enterprise Development Agency (EDA) and • the Training and Consulting Organisation “izbor Plus”. … ensuring international expertise and local know-how!

Target groups • Clients of the project are: • RDAs while the final beneficiaries of the project are • SMEs and • start-ups in BiH as well as • local economic service providers (LESPs). • Regional Development Agencies and Local Economic Service Providers will be enabled by EU TAC to better service the needs of SME in future.

Target groups SME will directly be assisted though training and related additional consulting service – Use the opportunities EU TAC offers directly and indirectly for your existing or starting SME • assists: • existing companies, • employers, employees, • managers, • young unemployed, • first-time job seekers, • women, • the trainers and training institutions, and, • socially excluded groups (minorities) and/or • special economic sectors

BAC assist you to identify your needs and enables EU TAC to offer solutions Business Skills Courses (BSC) You know what you do not know? Here is the next step: These courses are three to five days long special courses designed according to your needs. Designed for special problem solving, designed to increase your skills and make your business more successful Entrepreneurship Competence Courses (ECC) These are most comprehensive courses offered by EU TAC. 10 to 15 days of training to reach specially identified objectives for special target groups.

  30. LET‘S GET STARTED Working groups • According to the problems you identified and named in the beginning, we will now build working groups. These working groups will be lead by a trainer. • You will jointly develop ideas and needs for your business or starting business and thus assist EU TAC in serving your needs. You will also get to know the EU TAC methodology • Task: • under the guidance of your moderator, please try to clearly define: • „How can EU TAC assist the members of the working groups in future – • development of three workshops“ • prepare a short presentation of your results • information paper to be put on the EU TAC market place • short verbal presentation of your ideas and the reasons for your choice
