Welcome! • Turn in a copy of your DOL work (basket on my desk) • DOL: Correct the following sentences: • When I graduate high school I will become a college student. • I will make a contract between my client and I, and I will also negotiate contracts between my client and his team. • Right now it is just me who would be listed on the website, but that might change. • When in the business of costumer service one will have to work on the appearance of one’s documents. • I want to help kid’s make something out of their lives’.

  4. Request Letters • Review rubric – questions? • Copy due to me on Monday at the beginning of class • Staple rubric to the top of your document – required this time • Send these letters soon so your teachers have time to plan them • Check your deadlines – when are scholarship applications due?

  5. Colleges and Scholarships • Short list due on Thursday – email directly to eeperez@graniteschools.org. Make sure the subject of your email reads, “College and Scholarship Shortlist” and that you send the message from a professional email address • This document must be in your own words and contain the following: • At least 3 colleges/universities • Application requirements (documents needed, grades, etc) • Other deadlines • At least 3 scholarships • Describe requirements and award amount • What makes you a qualified applicant?

  6. Revising and Editing • Does everyone have a copy of the packet? • Keep your packet – we’ll work on it for the next few days
