  3. Miyazaki often uses the same themes like the relationship between humans and nature, ecology and technology, and the difficulty of staying pacifist in a world at war. The heroes of Miyazaki’s films are children or teenagers. He explains that when he imagines his characters, the characters are always children. The basis of his films.
