Promoting Climate Change Awareness Among Nigerian Youths through Public Lecture

Nigerian Youths Against Climate Change (NYACC), in collaboration with Worldview Mission, held a public lecture on the International Day of Peace at Nnamdi Azikiwe University focusing on the impact of youth behavioral change on climate change. The lecture aimed to raise awareness among undergraduates about the role of youth in addressing climate change. Dr. Ejeatuluchukwu Obi, the chair of the Health department at Worldview Mission and founder of NYACC, presented the lecture to 25-30 enthusiastic participants. The event concluded with the recruitment of new members to join the youth group dedicated to combating climate change in Nigeria.

  1. http://www.worldviewmission.nl/?page_id=74Nigerian Youths Against Climate Change (NYACC) in collaboration with Worldview Mission celebrated the International Day of Peace with a Public lecture on climate change as follows; Topic : The Impact of Youth Behavioural Change On Climate Change. Venue: The lecture was held at the College of Health Sciences, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Okofia Nnewi, Anambra State Nigeria. Participants: 25-30 undergraduates of the university aged between 18- 30years were in attendance. Date: 21st Sept, 2012. The lecture started at about 3:30pm and ended at about 5:30pm. After the lecture, new members were recruited to join the youth group.
