  1. INPO AP-929, Rev.1 Presented By: Mike Stout – PPL Glenn Neises - INPO

  2. INPO AP-929, Rev. 1 • Draft developed by INPO at the request of the CMBG Steering Committee • Draft dated May 2003 never issued • Draft really deals with modification process and some design basis; not a configuration management process • Steering Committee and INPO have agreed to work together to develop the revision that describes a configuration management process

  3. INPO AP-929, Rev. 1 • Approach  • Establish scope of the document • 80/20 rule – several members of the group will be asked to work on the document and meet for 2 days to develop the best document in that time frame • Make it consistent with ANSI/NIRMA CM 1.0-2000 • Start with new process model (IDEF0)

  4. INPO AP-929, Rev. 1 • Standard Nuclear Performance Model • (IAEA same) • Evaluate problem or request • Consider whether a design change is required • If no, then consider whether a plant change is required • If no, then consider whether a FCI change is required • Or, do nothing more and document decision

  5. INPO AP-929, Rev. 1 • Missing • Definitions are not complete • Configuration Change • Design Authority • Design Specifications • Time effect on completed and installed design • Changes • The activities in Rev. 1 are not incorrect, they are incomplete.
