  3. Awareness • Help Partners become aware of the impacts of climate change on their local environment & the potential to undermine their projects’ sustainability • Help Partners understand the links between local environmental degradation and their own programmes

  4. Participatory Research • Accessing local environmental knowledge: • Changes in weather and seasons • Changes in biodiversity & crop yields • Adaptive capacity • Existing coping mechanisms • Accessing district and national knowledge and resources, including meteorological

Assessment • Vulnerability Risk Assessments • Environmental Impact Assessments • Ensure all existing & new projects Do No Harm to the environment • Identify projects to modify so they Do Some Good to the environment • Identify the need for any new projects for climate change adaptation • Communities have the right to develop.
