Strategic Cycle 2008-13:8 Goals/60+ Metrics • Submitted in 2011 in AACSB SER for strategic cycle from 2008-13 • Eight goal categories: • Develop organizational culture and structure for ongoing development • Improve student services • Student-engaged teaching/learning • Strength core curriculum • Revamp MBA • Increase scholarship and its integration into the classroom • Building • Partnership cultivation • Goals met or positive direction identified as of May 2013 for approximately 2/3 of the metrics School of Business

Goal #1:Organizational Culture & Structure Accomplished/Positive Direction: • Successful hiring: faculty and Dean’s Office staff (Ruane Chair filled, replacement for attrition achieved, additional lines filled for MBA, Associate Dean, Assistant Dean, Office Manager) • Coverage of administrative tasks • Mock SER completion • Committee report-out system (new committees formed 2012-13: Curriculum; Professional Development Resources; Intellectual Contributions; reports at April/May faculty meeting) Unmet/Direction Unidentifiable: • Improve acculturation to Dominican history and tradition School of Business
