Commitment to Excellence • Those “who are committed to excellence in [writing] share a common end: a style that communicates effectively, even elegantly when elegance is appropriate.” (Williams) BTW, is “elegance” appropriate in technical writing? • “That style, by and large, is a style that is clear, precise, and forceful.”
