  1. Design Your T-Shirt With Screen Printing Method

  2. INTRODUCTION Screen printing is one of the famous as well as expensive method of printing. It is a printing technique whereby a mesh is used to transfer ink onto a substrate, except in areas made impermeable to the ink by a blocking stencil. This technique is also known as silkscreen printing because silk was used in the process prior to the invention of polyester mesh.

  3. WORKING OF SCREEN PRINTING There are two main things that are required during the process of screen printing: 1) Silkscreen or stencils. 2) Printing Ink. The process of screen printing begins by placing multiple silkscreens or stencils over whatever material you want to print your design on i.e., one screen for each color.

  4. WORKING OF SCREEN PRINTING Once you have arranged the stencils in the way that you want your design to be, then roll, press, and sponge the printing ink over the stencils to leave the design on the fabric. The ink used in tshirt screen printing is thicker than the ink used in any other printing method, which results in brighter colors - even on darker shirts.

  5. SCREEN PRINTING TECHNOLOGY In the earlier days, silk was used as a screen in place of stencil for this printing form. That is why, screen printing is also known as "Silk Screen" in now a days. As the technology develops very fastly and quickly, the printing technology also develops and there are various advancements that has taken place in the printing machines and printing industry.

  6. BENEFITS OF SCREEN PRINTING • Screen printing is best to choose if you design your t-shirt with large areas of block colour. This is because other methods of printing cannot print large areas as effectively as this method.

  7. BENEFITS OF SCREEN PRINTING • Screen printing is very durable method. The screen-printing process results in outstanding image durability compared to other printing methods. Moreover, you will not have to worry about the design on the shirt fading over time.

  8. BENEFITS OF SCREEN PRINTING • Although the appearance produced by digital printing is a perfect one but the appearance produced by screen printing method is much better than it. This is because screen printing generated 3D effects which could appear just like a real life.

  9. BENEFITS OF SCREEN PRINTING • Screen-printing technology have the ability to generate both small and large designs on fabrics. This means that there is nothing that cannot be achieved with this technology. You just need to understand the best way to utilize this technique for your benefit.

  10. BENEFITS OF SCREEN PRINTING • Screen printing t-shirts is very opaque, and can cover any deep colour beneath it whereas digital printing struggles to print light shades on top of dark, such as pale blue on bright yellow, without it looking green.
