Our incredible team 3 teachers 30 students from GPH • Students of the 1st to the 3rd grate • two English teachers • Mrs. Bušaničová & Mrs. Kertisová • and our special guest was the math’s • teacher Mrs. Olšavová • - This year we enjoyed our journey and all unforgettable memories with the students • from secondary school from Partizánske • and their two teachers • new friendships, funny situations • „war“ between West and East :D

  3. Far,far away from Slovakia • Saturday – we left Slovakia, then continued through the Czech Republic (still in bus) • Sunday Germany – Belgium - France Belgium, what a beautiful Country,Full of cows

No,we don’t regret anything Non, Je Ne Regrette Rienor how we came to FRANCE • although we were quite dead from travelling by bus, when we came to France everybody started to „live“ again • We slept in Dunkuerqe, in a small hotel F1, and we also went for a walk in the evening, even it was raining a bit. • Hunger was our strong enemy, so half of our group went to buy pizza (students with courage could practice their French) • another group • went to see • The Cathedral

  6. Canterbury • The Canterbury Cathedral is one • of the oldest and most famous • Christian structures in England • We visited The Cathedral, as well as • the gardens nearby, and the center of town • Wonderful expositions in shops • colourful Stained Glassin The Cathedral

  7. Greenwich Park Tower Bridge - Atmosphere of the park, Prime meridian 0°0’0’’, Planetarium • combined bascule and suspension bridge • over the River Thames • close to the Tower of London(prison in the past)

  8. St Paul's Cathedral • 365 feet (111m) high Anglican Cathedral • There were married Charles,Prince of Wales and Lady Diana Spencer The view

  9. Trafalgar Square • - The National Gallery • - A tourist attraction, and one of the most famous squares • problems with pigeons Big Ben - the nickname for the great bell of the clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster

Westminster Abbey • large, mainly Gothic Church, • in Westminster • It is the traditional place of coronation • and burial site for English monarchs. • Jane Austen and Charles Dickens • in Poet’s Corner Buckingham Palace • offical London residence • of the British monarch • Buckingham Palace finally became the principal royal residence in 1837, • on the accession • of Queen Victoria - 1000 rooms

Piccadilly Circus, Leicester Square - a famous road junction and public space - Neon signs, surrounded by several major tourist attractions • the centre of London's cinema land • it is claimed that the Square contains the cinema • with the largest screen and the cinema with the most seats (over 1600). • Odeon, Empire, Vue • all British premieres

  12. Hampton Court Palace • is a royal palace in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames in the south-west London • it was originally built for Cardinal Wolsey, a favourite of King Henry VIII • wonderful gardens, apartments, labyrinth, fountains

  14. Salisbury & Bath • a cathedral city • parks • original copies of Magna Carta • Early English Gothic • the Sacred Spring • the Roman Temple • the Roman Bath House • the Museum • The Roman Baths complex is a site of places of historical interest - Historical buildings : KFC or McDonald?

Oxford Street shopping insanity Journey by underground organized chaos Channel Tunnel between Great Britain and France Eurotunnel - 50.5 kilometres Host family • a great experience, practising English • intermediate products :D • shower – graduation ! • a nice English woman • with typical English accent, • and cute two dogs
