Environmentally Friendly • An average of 66 billion water bottles are consumed by people each year. • Most non reusable water bottles are either down cycled or just put into a pit, even when you think you're recycling them. • Only 13% of water bottles get recycled. • Estimated 2 million tons of water bottles end up in landfills each year. • It takes 1,000 years for water bottles to start decomposing in a landfill • People drink plastic bottles because they are easier to dispose.

  3. Health • Plastic water bottles contain Benzene which can cause cancer. • BPA is known to be a dangerous substance that can be found in water bottles.

  4. Overview of our project • We plan to sell re useable water bottles to CHS students & teachers for $5 • Profits received from this will go towards implementing a water filtration drinking fountain at school. • Goal – to lower the amount of plastic throw away water bottles on campus.

  5. Beneficial for the School • By selling these reusable water bottles the school can become more green. • If the water bottles are sold then the school will receive a water filtration system.

She just wants to make sure that the cafeteria would be making a profit from selling the water. Who We Have Talked to:

How we will implement • Theology teachers have agreed to play a video our marketing team has created. • They will provide order forms & we will either have them collect $ and order form OR we will collect during lunches & after school…. • Once students place their order we will then make ours with the company.
