  2. Brushing your pet’s teeth should be a part of the pet care daily routine. Doing that can reduce oral bacteria and plaque in their mouth and keep dental disease at bay. A healthy pet is a happy pet! Here are a few points to remember when brushing your pet’s teeth or contact the best veterinary wellness clinic.

  3. Buy pet-friendly products   Don’t use the toothpaste that you use for yourself or your pet. Since your pet can’t spit, they could swallow the toothpaste and all the fluoride it contains which can be harmful to them. Therefore, it is essential to buy pet-friendly toothpaste and a soft toothbrush that will be safe and suitable for their mouth.

  4. Use a small amount of toothpaste Before brushing your pet’s teeth, use a small amount to let them taste. Ideally, they’ll think it’s a treat and search for more.

  5. Use your finger to rub the paste on their teeth To clean your pet’s teeth, use your finger and rub the toothpaste on their teeth. This will help with the introduction of the toothbrush.

  6. Brush their teeth gently Use a gentle brush to clean the teeth and scrub their mouth.
