WHO ARE THE DISADVANTAGED Socio-Economical Disadvantage:Unemployment, Lower income, sex differences, Broken families, single parents, immigrants, bilinguals, difference in moral values between East and West, isolation, working in young ages Physical Disadvantage:Disabled, mentally retarded, difficult access to health services, people with no health insurance, elderly people Psychological Disadvantage:Depression, low self-esteem, adolescent rebellion, dissatisfaction, tendency to commit suicide, generation gap Geographical Disadvantage: Climate differences, problems in access to education and health facilities, lack of industrial investment in Eastern Parts, Educational Disadvantage:Low education level of parents, illiteracy, inequality of physical school environment between East and West, inequality of opportunity to have private education (from primary to university)

DISADVANTAGED STUDENTS IN OUR SCHOOL • Children of broken families • Students who work in tourism field during summer season (April – October) • Students staying at dormitories or by themselves • Students who are experiencing adolescence rebellion • Students from lower income families • Students who have uneducated parents • Cultural differences • Different moral values • Students with low self esteem • Different ethnic groups • Lack of concentration during hot season • Lack of control over the students because of long working hours of the parents during tourism season.
