  4. Completion Certificates • Can be printed at any time • Go to My FAASafety.gov • Click on My Courses • Look for Certificate icon to the right of the course

Online Courses • Can be completed once a year • Actually, the course can be taken again after nine months, to allow sufficient time • Can be reviewed any time • Before enrolling for a course, and on the 1st review only, all exam questions can be reviewed • Web site auto-logoff is set at 65 minutes, so be sure to complete the exam in less than 65 minutes!

  12. Online Course Exams • Exam questions are selected randomly and each time the exam is taken, it could be a different set of questions • And, the answers are not in the same order each time • This ensures the integrity of the exam process

  13. Online Course Exams • The course can be completed in multiple sessions • Take a chapter a day, for example • On the other hand, the exam must be completed in one session • Or, you start the exam over each time you log back in! • Remember, the exam must be completed in 65 minutes or less.

Online Course Exams • Common Problem: A user takes a course and the exam icon is not visible • This is probably because the user did not register for the course • Registration allows FAASafety.gov to keep a record of a user’s completion of the course • For WINGS credit and also for regulatory confirmation • Such as the new DC ADIZ course

  15. Online Courses • Log on to FAASafety.gov • Click on the Aviation Learning Center link in the left column, then click on Online Course Catalog • This will take you to a page where all the courses are listed. Scroll down to find the course desired • Click on the Register Now link
