Front view of targetseenfromacceleratorside • The 2 pipes to feed the liquidtargetvessel are seenclearly • One comesfrom the top ( j = 90°) and goesuntil the targetat the samej = 90° • The other one startsatj = 0° and goesprogerssively to the lower part of the target (j = 270° ) • The entrance diameteris 46 mm • The availablediameterwithin the pipes is of the order of 22 to 22 mm (difficult to measureaccurately) 75 mm 46 mm

  3. Maybe a betterview on how the tubes are locatedinside the 46 mm cylinder The ‘gold’ ring has a radius of about 5 mm. The outer part of the ring isjust a reflexion on the cylinder surface.One clearlysee the entrance Mylarwindow of the target. Availablediameterwithin the pipes ≈ 20-22 mm !!
