APF and EuroNGOs • 1995 – invitation to join the European advocacy project from Sara Seims, Walter Meyer and Steve Sending in Lisboa • 1995 – first meeting in Dublin • 1996 – Hannover –the beginning of EuroNGOs Platform • 1996 –first work project, supported by the Rockefeller Foundation • Joining the advocay towards parliamentarians project

APF and International Advocacy • Highlights: • Amsterdam (EuroNGOs AM) – inclusion of the Portuguese-speaking countries in the project, as recipients of aid from international donors • With IPPF-EN the beginning of the Parliamentary Initiative, in Portugal with MP of all parties • Integrating Portuguese MPs in the IEPFPD • Participation, 3 times, in the EuroNGOs SC.
