  3. Must Truly Know Ourselves We can lie to ourselves – Jeremiah 17:9,10 God wants our thoughts under His control – 2 Corinthians 10:4,5 We need to be shown by God our proper place- Proverbs 4:20-23

  4. God Will Provide Words of Wisdom So We Might Know How To Live Sad to see people caught in a lifelong pattern of failure. Can easily commit to things that will burden & break us- Luke 8:14 Easy to take on things that make no sense and consume our energy

  5. God Will Provide Words of Wisdom So We Might Know How To Live When we know we are right with God, & know His character & promises, we know He will take care of us – Matthew 6:25-27 Each of us must go through a learning process We may have lived as if there is no God!?

  6. Changing Thought Patterns Takes Time & Much Effort Accept the things you cannot change Each of us has a ‘load limit’ The Key to meaningful life is the Wisdom God can give us concerning the right ‘yoke’ to bear- Matthew 11:28-30 Keep doing it the rest of our lives!

  9. Learn How To Defeat Repeating Patterns Of Failure Many experience heartbreak & failure & do the same thing over & over This is a characteristic of a fool – Proverbs 27:22 Trust God you can find strength to overcome these patterns – Psalm 27:7-11; 86:11,12; 119:32-33

  10. Learn Who You Can Trust We all will need help to see clearly in times of hurt and crisis – Proverbs 24:6; 27:9 We all needs friends of integrity who will talk straight to us

  11. Those in a Pattern of Failure Will Run From & Attack Those Who Can Help Warning Signs – 1 Samuel 22:8-10; Psalm 52:1-9 Beware when those you considered to be faithful Christians for years suddenly becomes outcasts and unreasonable overnight

  12. God’s Principles to Guard Our Thoughts Always be teachable & willing to admit wrong “Is it I?” Matthew 26:22-25 Do not share uncontrolled anger & bitterness with others – Ephesians 4:26,27 Make haste to be reconciled to all that you have hurt – Matthew 5:23,24
