PROJECT: MyHIJAU LABELLINGReporting period: 1 – 31 AUGUST 2013 Project Brief/Summary MyHIJAULabelling is a program to encourage recognition of green products and services through standard, rating and certification. Project scope: promotion, criteria development, product evaluation & verification, database development, monitoring, market research Objectives • To establish one coordination system to improve green labeling product adoption • To increase number of certified green products • To improve the existing infrastructure to ease green product certification • Project Fund: RM 905,679 • Duration: January – December 2013 • Expected Outcomes • 2 CBs/Scheme Owner join MyHIJAU(Oct 2013) • Completion of 5 new Product Criteria (Nov 2013) • Document 100 products obtained GreenTAG (Dec 2013) • Database of Green Laboratories (Oct 2013) • Market Research for Green Products and Services 2013 (July 2013) Status SIRIM, ST and SPAN are members of MyHIJAU Feasibility study for all 5 PCD 64 items received GreenTAG Matrix of type of test vs. accredited test labs completed Completed

PROJECT: MyHIJAU LABELLINGReporting period: 1 – 31 August 2013 Activities Completed (During reporting period) • SIRIM, SPAN and ST are now members of MyHIJAU Labelling. • LCA Study 50% completed. Draft PCD for mattress shall be discussed with WG end of Sept. • GreenTAGapplication – 64 product endorsed • Type of environment test matrix completed • SIRIM agreed to join organize the LCA training with MGTC. • Reviewed specification of promotional video % completed: 76 % % funds utilised: 55% (RM500,660) • Activities Planned (For next reporting period) • Signing of MoU (100% Oct 2013) • LCA study (100% end of Sept 2013) • Post Market Research- Workshop (100% Oct 2013) • Database of Testing Laboratories (100% Dec 2013) • In progress – defining type of env test • Management approval to join organized LCA training with SIRIM • Finalising story line
