  3. Update: Blackboard upgrade • Winter break • Target days for upgrade: Jan 2-3 • Upgrade training will be offered by CIDDE Fall semester

  4. Update: Combining online classes • Senate resolved to follow through with their original decision from Spring: to allow department chairs to determine whether or not combining online classes works for their discipline • Hybrid classes can now be combined

  5. Update: Self-Evaluation Task force • Create resources for online instructors

  6. Update: Student Help • Blackboard Student Services • On campus help desks and x4363

  7. New Taskforce: DE Student Survey • 6th annual Fall DE Student Survey • Suggestions for changes? • Need volunteers for taskforce to edit survey questions

  8. New event: Blackboard and Bagels • Faculty discussion group • Last Friday of the month in Fall 2012, 9-10:30 am, BGS 135 • September 28 • October 26 • November 30 • RSVP at cgee@saddleback.edu
