Cultivate Idaho is a statewide non-profit organization focused on improving food security for all Idahoans. Through policy and program interventions, they work towards building strong local food systems, promoting economic development, and fostering community support and civic engagement.

  2. Idaho Hunger Relief Task ForceWho are we? • ‘envision that in a state as abundant as Idaho, there be food security for all Idahoans and work to put public and private resources into action to improve food security for all Idahoans.’ • Statewide non-profit organization—20 members

  4. What do we do? • Not direct service—not emergency food • Policy and program interventions • Examples: • Idaho Grocery Tax Credit • Biennial Summits on Hunger and Food Security • Idaho Farmers’ Market Association • SFMNP and Idaho’s Tax Code • Cultivate Idaho—growing strong local food systems
