  5. Indistar provides ability to address ESEA Turnaround Principles at the School and District level. Intensive Support and Intervention Moderate Support and Intervention Independent with General Support

  6. Indistar aligns structures and support. • LEAs need help aligning their plans with federal requirements for a transformation School transformation teams need guidance and support to stay on track with implementation. SEAs need an efficient way to monitor and evaluate progress

  7. Expectations… • SIG/Priority Schools …Indistar is a Key Requirement Support is Provided! • Dual systems of support-Federal Programs and District and School Transformation (SIG/Priority/RttT Schools) • SIG/Priority School Coaches • Quality Reviews

  8. Coaching • Walk ins- Provided throughout the State • Provide Coaching Comments in Indistar • Individual Support-Site visits to support school efforts with online planning. • Monthly webinars-provide Indistar tips and Q/A opportunity

  9. Training • SIG/RttT Collaboration Sessions • Title I Regional Professional Development • Statewide Indistar Training-with Stephanie Benedict! • SIG/Priority School Forums

Looking ahead… • Several additional districts are “entertaining” the use of Indistar as their SIP. • Indistar overviews have been provided to these districts • Our role is to be a resource for schools and districts in their effort to create collaborative opportunities to address all areas of student achievement.
