Swansea Employability Academy Boards
  • The Strategy Board meets three times a year and has participants from:-
  • HEFCW, Venture Capitalists, Large Enterprises, Economic Development, CBI, Chamber of Commerce, Entrepreneurs, Sector Skills Councils, Regional Learning Partnership, SMEs, ABMU Health Board.
  • The Management Board meets monthly and has participants from across the University, with two external people from the Strategy Board.

  • To support our graduates in attaining graduate level employment and enhance the development of the regional economy.

  • With the support of employers review the structure and content of our courses to ensure that all students develop the essential graduate attributes which make them employable.

Challenge our students, take them out of their comfort zone, develop a ‘can do’ attitude and raise aspirations to find graduate level employment - which will entail developing a global perspective and may mean increasing mobility.
