  1. Uber Taxi Clone : Geo Fence Location & Restricted Area

  2. Why Do you Required to Define Location? • You need to define the location for the vehicle type and the restriction. • Check the Location from the modules, that will reflect at Location Vehicle Type Driver App Restricted Area Rider App

  3. Why do you need location to be define? Restricted Area Vehicle Type • The Vehicle type you have added from the Admin -> Vehicle type document need to define the region where it will going to be available for riders. • Basic Vehicle type is available for the passenger staying at Paris. • Drivers can register their car in Basic category and they can get request for the trips from the passenger who stay at Paris city. • Restricted Area – This type allows you to define the specific area from where you never want or always want to make trips.

  4. How to add Location? • Enter the location on the map, Say California • Based on that, select the region portion by clicking on the map using hand tool. • The selected region will be highlighted in red color • This region you can use at Vehicle type module and for Area restriction .

  5. How to Edit Location? • Enter Location name , Location Country and Location For Value. • If the location for value is Vehicle type then you can see this location entry in the Admin -> Vehicle type -> Location field • If the location for value is Restricted Area then you can see this location in the Admin -> Manage Location -> Restricted Area

  6. DRIVER APP • In the driver app the Vehicle list (Menu -> Manage Vehicle – Add Vehicle ) will based on the 2 parameters. 1. Driver’s Country - (App - My Profile) 2. Location of Vehicle type ( Admin -> Vehicle type -> location) • If Driver’s Country and Vehicle type - > Location -> Geo Fence -> Location Country is same then those vehicle type list will be available to drivers.

  7. Restricted Area This allows passenger from the app to allow / disallow trip request to be made. • Select Location Area • Select Address type : Pick Up, Drop off or Both. • Select restrict type : Allowed / Disallowed. Location Las Vegas is set as Allowed, then riders can make trips from this specific location. Location Las Vegas is set as Disallowed, then riders cannot make trips from this specific location.

  8. Example Of Geo Fence Location • Like this you can set the location for the Vehicle type like Los Angeles (City ) or California (State) or whole country (United States). • Also, you can define the area where you want your vehicle services to be allowed or disallowed. • , you don’t want your vehicles to take a trip from the crime prone areas, or you want to set the specific range of area and within those range only you want to give the services.
