  1. Know About Different Types in Drywall Drywall also is known as the Gypsum board or Plasterboard, and it’s much more interesting as it looks. This is used for construction material for creating ceilings and walls. Also, Drywalls are good for insulation as it works as air barriers. There are different benefits for residential and commercial projects. From Drywalls to Insulation, these are used for protecting your house, so before you choose one, make sure to know about the types. Types in Drywall to know Drywall is an alternative use for Lumber, wood, and plastic. This is made with Calcium sulfate dihydrate or Gypsum, paper, clay, etc. There are five basic types in Drywall, it includes: Regular or Grey Drywall Regular or grey is the most common and one of the familiar kinds. In regular, gypsum is sandwiched between layers of papers in brown colour. It can be used for the house as it comes with different dimensions. Also, it’s cheap and goes well with common use. Green Drywall Green drywall is mole resistant and highly used with areas where moisture is a serious issue. It works as good for in the bathroom like areas. Green drywall maximizes the moisture and mold resistance if the joint compound is used together. Purple Drywall Purple drywalls are ideal for resisting mildew, mold, and moisture. It’s good for resisting dents, scuffs as well as scratches. However, this one is more expensive

Fire-resistant Drywall This one is also known as Type X and it has higher fire resistance ratings. Also, it’s a good replacement of Lumber as Fire resistance drywalls are made of glass fibers and gypsum to make it a one-hour fire rating.
