Match up the definitions to the Components of Skill-Related Fitness The ability to retain the centre of mass of the body above the base of support The ability to undertake strength performances quickly (strength x speed) The ability to change the position of the body quickly and to control the movement of the whole body The rate at which a performer is able to perform a movement or cover a set distance The ability to use two or more body parts together The time between the presentation of a stimulus and the onset of movement.

  8. Task: For each Skill-Related Component of Fitness: List 3 sports/physical activities that use each component. For one sport/physical activity identified, explain how you use that component of fitness. For one sport/physical activity identified, explain the importance of that component of fitness on performance.
