  1. Pressure Measurement In Compressed Air and Gases Monitoring the line pressure in Compressed air and Gas systems helps to significantly reduce Energy consumption.

  2. Importance of Pressure Monitoring • Reduces energy consumption by monitoring and optimizing line pressure.  • Minimizes leakage and extends compressor life. • Optimizes filter performance by measuring differential pressure across filters.

  3. Energy Efficiency through Pressure Control • Most machinery operates efficiently below 6 bar overpressure. • Reducing system pressure by 1 bar can lead to 6–8% energy savings. • Lower pressure reduces compressor wear and leakage losses.

  4. CS Instruments Pressure Sensors Overview • PTS 500: Combines pressure and temperature measurement. • DPS 16: Digital sensor for 0–16 bar range with RS485 output. • CS 100: Standard sensor for 0–100 bar with 0.5% accuracy. • CS 1.6 Absolute: Measures 0–1.6 bar absolute pressure. • CS -1...+15: Precision sensor for -1 to +15 bar range. • CS 40 & CS 400: For higher pressure ranges up to 400 bar. • Differential Pressure Probe: Monitors filter performance and pressure drops. • IAC 500: Measures ambient conditions including pressure, temperature, and humidity.

  5. THANK YOU If you have any queries regarding which pressure sensor to choose or its applications, our experts will be happy to help. (27) 021 557 5618 https://www.cs-instruments.com/za/
