Intro • Presentation is a fast walk through results: • Usage of PPPs in the world • Institutional environment (influence on spread of PPPs) • Investigation based on: • DBFO projects (Design-Build-Finance-Operate) • From 1984 -2009 • Value above 1 Mio USD • Two dependent variables: • Number of PPPs / Mio Habita • Investments in PPPs as % of GDPppp • 140 countries of “known usage” • 117 with PPPs, 23 without • all above 1 mio Habita (due to my variables)
