This is just one definition of sustainability. • What can be done to build buildings more sustainable? • What measures can be taken to make buildings last and does this mean they will be sustainable? • What improvements should be made to the building fabric and services of buildings? • Identify the professionals that need to come together to produce buildings that have minimum impact on the natural environment.

  5. Discussion task • Produce a definition of sustainable buildings.
