Facts about Dr. Kings life • Born on January 15,1929: Lived in Atlanta, Georgia • Birth Name: Michael King Jr. Died April 4, 1968 at age 39 Memphis, Tennessee • Spouse: Corretta “Scott” King • Children: Martin Luther king III, Yolanda king, Dexter “Scott” King, and Bernice King • Religion: Christianity: was a Pastor in Montgomery, Alabama • Education: Morehouse college and went to seminary to study. Movements: African-American civil rights, peace movement Award: Nobel peace price and cong. Gold medal
