  2. Overview of Title 1 Federal funding source Money allotted to schools via census data (low income families) Buildings qualify based upon Free and Reduced lunches (Targeted Assistance) Eagleville, Audubon, Woodland Students who demonstrate need are served (not necessarily low income students)

  3. Overview of Title 1, cont. • Title 1 funds must provide additional resources for Title 1 students (“supplement, not supplant”) • Cannot use funds to pay for core programs • Moneys used for: • Materials • Programs • Parent involvement • Professional development • Summer Jump Start program
