  1. MOTIVATIONS FOR CRIMINAL LAW ENFORCEMENT - GOALS THE TERM PENAL LAW (ALSO KNOWN AS CRIMINAL LAW) IS USED TO DESCRIBE DIFFERENT RULE BODIES WITHIN DISTINCT JURISDICTIONS. THESE RULE BODIES SHARE A COMMON TRAIT: THE TENDENCY TO ISSUE DISTINCT AND SEVERE PUNISHMENTS FOR FAILURE TO COMPLY.
