  4. I live in the marshes and shallow waters of Austrstraila. During the dry season I either move to land or stay in the mud. Habitat

  5. Status Please do your part in protecting the environment so that my species will not go extinct.

  6. Long Neck Their long neck allows them to find food in places that their bodies cannot fit into. Due to the length of their necks, they cannot pull their head into their shells.

  7. Hard Shell The turtle has a hard shell for defense against its many predators.

  8. Webbed Feet The turtle has webbed feet for swimming in its swampy habitat. They are useful for catching the turtles’ diet of aquatic animals.
