  4. Split Audio • Split the audio from the video • Press the split Audio or • Select from right click menu • Note: no audible sound on the clip

  5. Drag and drop a video to the project E.g. V01 Step 1: Select a video

  6. Right click the video on the timeline Select Split Audio Step 2: right click menu

  7. Step 2: Split audio button • Another method: • Select video • Press the split Audio

  8. Step 3: Split audio • Sound clip would split onto voice track • May delete if useless

  15. Step 4a: Record audio • Note: Voice track has to be empty before recording • i.e. remember to move the split out sound clip

  16. Step 4a: Record audio • Note: audio clip is saved in folder: • My document • Ulead Video • 14.0 (Checked)! • In school’s computer these files are deleted after log out • MAKE SURE SAVE the file onto your own drive • Relink to the project next time in open

  17. Suggestion • Use a folder to save • Project file • Audio files • Sound files • Much easier to relink file when re-open VideoStudio project file

  18. Relink file • Video / Sound file is missing on opening a project • Relink file • Click Relink button

  19. Relink file • Select the missing file

  20. Relink file • If success • Click OK or • Double click the black and white area in the track • Repeat the relink again
