  3. The God of the Towel - Loves the Weak

  4. Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spiriton him and he will bring justice to the nations. Isaiah 42:1

  5. He will not shout or cry out, or raise his voice in the streets. A bruised reed he will not break, and a smoldering wick he will not snuff out. Isaiah 42:2

  6. God is Compassionate: Now the tax collectors and sinners were all drawing near to hear him. And the Pharisees and the scribes grumbled, saying, “This man receives sinners and eats with them.” Luke 15:1-2

  7. God is Gentle in Power: See, the Sovereign LORD comes with power… He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. Isaiah 40:10-11

  8. The Towel Tells Us… God accepts the weak in their weakness. And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go and from now on sin no more.” John 8:11
