  3. What Is IELTS Speaking?

  4. IELTS speaking is one of the most important and challenging parts of the IELTS exam. In this part of the exam, the examiner tests your ability to speak in the English language. This part of IELTS is more like a one-on-one interview where you have to answer the questions asked by the examiner. The examiner can ask questions about yourself or on some general topics. You must answer all the questions according to your knowledge. You must speak error-free English fluently to achieve a good band score in IELTS speaking.   7. Describe a piece of art you like Sample Answer: Since I don’t particularly enjoy art and haven’t visited any art galleries, it’s difficult for me to describe a real piece of art. As with this question, I’d like to discuss a painting called “a scene of peace” that I saw in a multicultural magazine a few years ago. According to the myth, there once was a ruler who organized a painting contest with the theme of unity. There were two of the most magnificent yet unique drawings among the hundreds of paintings that were submitted in the last round. The first showed high sea cliffs, a crystal-clear sea, and a blazing sun. The cloud remained in place. It was simply delightful. Another painting had a tree by the cascade. On the branch, there was a nest for a parrot. Along with the crashing waterfall, a mourning bird was feeding her child. The second one has been chosen by the king. I like this image because it clarifies that life is not as peaceful and happy as it appears in the first image. Every day, we must deal with the chaos of life. Finding unity within the sprawl, or more specifically, finding peace within our hearts will be the most important thing for us to do. I’ve made that my motto for the upcoming years.

  8. Describe a house or apartment you would like to live in Sample Answer: I don’t want to live in a big home. Big houses are challenging to maintain. Three bedrooms, a kitchen, a lobby, a front lawn, and a backyard kitchen garden would be the parts of my home. As I enjoy gardening a lot. So, I would grow tomatoes, green peppers, aubergines, okra, mint, coriander, and other seasonal vegetables. I would only use natural fertilizers, like compost made from kitchen waste. I wouldn’t use any pesticides or insecticides. My home would have plenty of natural light and spacious rooms. The newest fittings would be in the kitchen and bathrooms. To capture solar energy, I would install solar panels on the terrace. In my home, I’d like to entertain and welcome friends and family. I’d keep it neat and clean. One day, I plan to settle down in a home like that.

  9. Describe a close friend Sample answer: Here, I want to talk about my best friend, Alexa, whom I’ve known for about ten years. We first met when we were in the same class in elementary school. She was initially quite shy and didn’t talk to any students, which gave me the impression that she was a little proud of herself. She was more sociable and friendly once we became close friends, though. Together, we’ve accomplished a lot of things. We share a variety of friends because we attend the same universities. So, on the weekends, we frequently throw parties or go on picnics. Moreover, I seek her assistance whenever I am in trouble. For instance, I remember how she handled me after I received poor marks on the mock university entrance exam, and then we studied together until the real exam. We had the chance to attend our preferred college at last. Even though we currently have different plans and objectives, I think we will always be best friends. At last, I want to say that we will do everything in our power to keep this friendship strong.
