  1. PEGGY GUGGENHEIM Peggy Ihr echter Name war Marguerite Guggenheim . Sie war eine von drei Töchtern des New Yorker Geschäftsmanns Benjamin Guggenheim und dessen Frau Florette Seligman. Ihr Vater entstammte einer der wohlhabendsten Familien Amerikas und kam 1912 beim Untergang der Titanic ums leben. Ihre begeisterung für Kunst hat sie von ihrem OkelSolomon R.Guggenheim .Von 1941 bis 1946warsie mit Max Ernstverheiratet. ( 26. August1898 in New York City, USA; † 23. Dezember1979 in Padua, Italien)
