The PA REACH East initiative is making strides in improving healthcare delivery amid challenges. As of January 2012, the program has enrolled 3,006 providers, benefitting over 4 million unique patients with 11 million annual encounters. Despite difficulties, including the absence of a state database for provider information, the program has successfully distributed significant Medicare and Medicaid EHR incentive payments to participating providers. The initiative is committed to ongoing communication with stakeholders and aims for sustainable efforts in healthcare transformation.
