District Wide Elementary Goals • Active Learning Structures/Strategies • Using STAR to assess and individualize specific strategies for students. • Differentiated Instruction through a variety of strategies/programs, such as Compass Learning, Engage NY, IXL, Moby Max, Reading Eggs • Identifying priority standards

Amazonia Goals Goal #1: Amazonia Elementary will increase student achievement in Communication Arts and Math focusing on Missouri Learning Standards. • Professional Development (Identifying priority standards, proficiency based learning, Missouri Learning Standards) • STAR Assessment Data • Parent Informational Nights • AR Reading Program • RtI (Response to Intervention) / Differentiated Instruction • Data Cycles • Student Data Notebooks - Student Goal Setting • Book Study • Job Embedded Collaboration (vertical teaming, Child Success Teams, etc...) • Parent Teacher Conferences • Tutoring • Possibly hold summer school at our building for Summer 2016

Amazonia Goals Goal #2: Amazonia Elementary will increase student engagement by using variety of active learning strategies in classroom instruction. • Book Study • Active Learning Professional Development opportunities for staff • Focus on Kagan structures during collaboration and professional development Goal #3: Amazonia Elementary will implement the new Missouri Educator Evaluation Model to increase teacher effectiveness. • Professional Development on writing effective growth plans • Professional Development on developing student learning objectives • Administrator providing specific feedback on instructional strategies

Amazonia Goals Goal #4: Amazonia Elementary will continue to create and promote a positive building climate in which there is strong parental support and communication between all stakeholders, to increase parent involvement. • Communication using Dewsly • Monthly Family Nights (August - March) • Open Library Nights • Reading and Math nights • Title 1 Meetings • Community Garden • Partnership with Mosaic for Healthy Cooking Classes scheduled for the Spring • Student Leadership Roles • Weekly Newsletters K-5 • Weekly Progress Reports for students in Grades 4-5 • Daily Planner: academic and behavior reports • Quarterly Awards Assembly

Minnie Cline Goals Goal #1 MC will develop and implement plans to reduce student behaviors which hinder the educational process. • A more engaging learning environment + daily behavioral reinforcement plan= success • Active Learning Workshop and Out of Sync Students Workshop this summer provide PD for this • Targeted daily reinforcement plans promote students thinking more about their behavior and positive behaviors

  16. Minnie Cline Goals Goal #2 MC teachers will engage in discussions on proven research and data practices that increase student achievement. Teamwork and collaboration will be promoted • Camp Geiger to kick-off the school year • Peer observations, Bucket-fillers, B.A.T. awards • Teacher survey last June- more emphasis on data driven instruction • Title teachers will promote tracking student growth

Minnie Cline Goals Goal #4 MC will increase student achievement in ELA and Math by prioritizing essential skills and targeted student learning objectives. • RPDC working with grade level teams to establish priority standards for ELA and creating a unit of study based around a student-learning objective • Instructional practices need to provide differentiated learning opportunities
