Rotary Club of Bishkek Ротари Клуб Бишкека (District 2430) (Округ 2430) Служение другим превыше собственных интересов Service Above Self • was established in 2004 as NGO Public Foundation • Social Village Manas is aimed to create and establish conditions for people with disabilities and invalids on “Family Type” model • Located in Murake v., Moscow district, Chuii province (60 km from Bishkek to west)

Rotary Club of Bishkek Ротари Клуб Бишкека (District 2430) (Округ 2430) Служение другим превыше собственных интересов Service Above Self Beneficiaries who graduated specialized orphanages and institutions for people with disabilities, homeless invalids in 2006 local authorities provided to NGO “Manas” land slot 0.65 hectares for construction and 9 hectares for agriculture activity and farm breeding In 2006 NGO “Manas” opened first group of citizens of 6 people in rented house in Murake village. Friends from Norway and Germany presented to Manas citizens 2 caws and 2 calfs

In 2009 German Embassy in KR provided 8000 EURO for procurement of construction materials for new house In August 2010, “Manas” NGO completed construction and put into operation first new house: 4 rooms, dinning room and hygiene facilities for 6 invalids. Present time 6 invalids and 2 social parents are living Self-sustainability: NGO Manas opened handicraft circle and deal with farm breeding and agriculture activity to be self-supporting
