  1. Get support from a Life Coach • If we are serious about our performance, we will desire to get coaching help (ex. A golf or tennis instructor, a piano teacher, a speech coach, etc.) • We are never too old to get advice (ex. Roger Federer – 2014 Australian Open with his coach Stephan Edberg there) • Coaches provide new insights, suggestions • Coaches protect against bad habits forming • Coaches provide encouragement • Coaches push you beyond your comfort

  2. Our Perspective matters We have a choice in what our perspective will be We can be positive/hopeful, or discouraging/critical We can rely on our limited abilities and resources or God’s unlimited abilities and resources We can bring hope to others, or we can bring fear to others We can see this as a problem situation, or an opportunity (to personally grow, to stretch our faith, and for God to show Himself strong In my office, I have as a visual reminder these blocks to remind myself of the choice I have: to be like one of the 10 spies (bad perspective) , or like one of the 2 spies (with a godly perspective).
