Open Microsoft Edge on your computer; you can open any preferred browser. • Click on its URL to insert a website and enter ‘oeclassic.com’ • Once you insert the website, please press enter to launch the page. • When the page opens, you will be able to locate a big green box with Download Now written in it. • Clicking on this box will download the classic Outlook express for you on your Windows device. • Upon clicking in the box, a small pop-up should appear at the bottom of your browser with a question and three options. • The pop-up asks ‘What do you want to do with oec290.exe’ and the options are run, save, and cancel • Please click on the Save option from the pop-up and then left-click the Open Folder option.
If you cannot locate the Open Folder file, please note that you can most likely find the file in the Downloads folder of your computer. • Either way, you will find the oec290.exe file on your computer - please click on the file. • On the new window, when the system asks you if you wish to allow the changes made by this file, please press Yes. • The next step is to install this software correctly on the system; please click on I next to do so • On the license agreement, please press I agree followed by Next. • Click on the Install option next and patiently wait until the software is installed on your Windows 10 • Untick the Show Readme option and then click on Finish • Finally, choose your ideal language and press OK.
Since Outlook Express was discontinued, it is no longer available. On the other hand, Outlook Express Classic is a substitute for Outlook express and serves the same services.
