  1. Things to do at LAX

  2. Things to Do on a Layover at LAX Airport LAX, or Los Angeles International Airport, is the world's sixth busiest airport. You can easily travel between terminals by taking the terminal shuttle, which runs every 10 minutes. If you're short on time and willing to spend a little extra, use Uber or Lyft. Depending on the length of your LAX layover, there's a lot Things to do at LAX.

  3. You can move from terminal to terminal without having to go through security Arrivals with connecting flights can use a special walkway before exiting the airport that allows them to walk all the way from Tom Bradley to Terminal 7. This means you won't have to leave the terminal and go through the arduous security process again. You can catch a special shuttle bus from Tom Bradley to terminals 1, 2, and 3.

  4. Get your Mexican food fix before heading home California has some of the best tacos outside of Mexico, and you can get your fix at Border Grill, whose chefs are credited with introducing Mexican cuisine to California. Burritos and the chile relleno burger are popular dishes here, as are taco plates with beans and rice and cheesy empanadas with a sweet chutney.

  5. Go shopping Aside from the usual souvenirs, T-shirts, and Donald Trump memorabilia, Tom Bradley has a couple of standout retailers that are also unique to LA. For some last-minute, high-end but casual clothing, Fred Segal has a small outlet here; Sunset Strip's famous bookstore Book Soup has a store here; and See's Candies, another local, has numerous outlets around the terminal for last-minute gift shopping.

  6. Get a massage With the stress of getting to the airport behind you and a dreaded overnight flight ahead of you, the only way to ensure you get some sleep is to get a full body massage before you board - on my last late-night flight to Australia, I was out before the first dinner service.

  7. Take a nap If you want to sleep, the quietest part of LAX is where the shuttle buses leave to take passengers to terminals 1, 2, and 3. It's a massive, high-ceilinged section of the terminal that has yet to be refurbished, so take advantage of its vast expanse and low traffic to catch a couple of hours of shut-eye in between flights. 8. Enjoy art exhibitions and live music Six nights a week, live music is now performed directly over the food court area at Tom Bradley. The bands change every night and represent a diverse cross- section of LA's cultural melting pot. Keep an eye out for art exhibits by local artists throughout the airport, such as the video installation Xing LA: From Altadena to Long Beach in Terminal 6.
