DoD Illumination Server Purpose Approach Service Oriented architecture Joint collaboration of USNO, PMW-120, NAVO, NRL General applicability • Provide rapid accurate ephemeris data for sun, moon, illumination • Maintain • Best algorithms • Best empiricism for stochastic effects • Conform to best practices Status • DoD Illumination Server tested and accepted by CNMOC
