  6. To find your PA, you need to set your subscale to 29.92! ALTIMETER ALTIMETER In this example, your needle will decrease. 30.15 29.92 IF YOUR FIELD ELEVATION IS 653’ ASL, WHAT IS YOUR PA? Your PA is 423’ ASL, therefore the your plane thinks it’s at 423’ ASL and not 653’ ASL.
