three main organs tissue
Three main organs/tissue
  • Lungs – excrete gaseous waste – CO2
  • Skin – excrete liquid waste in the form of sweat
  • Kidneys – excrete ‘nitrogenous’ waste in the form of urine
kidneys
Kidneys
  • The kidneys are two ‘kidney bean’ shaped organs on either side of your torso
  • The kidneys filter your blood of toxic material
  • Toxic material is sent to the bladder and mixed with water to be urinated out
  • Non-toxic material is recycled and sent back to body
kidneys1
Kidneys
  • The kidneys also help you retain water
  • Or If you have excess water, it helps you excrete that water.
  • The kidney aims to keep a good water balance.
  • What life function is being described above?
kidneys2
Kidneys
